Being a geek (or a nerd) usually refers to a slightly eccentric and unfashionable person. Someone with great interest, passion & enthusiasm for peculiar, non-mainstream subjects.

I believe inner geekness should be embraced rather than be embarassed of. 🙂

What is a GeekPic?

To appreciate geekness in general, I will occasionally post a fun ‘GeekPic’ at irregular intervals.
I’m a volcano geek and I’m not ashamed to admit it. And no, I don’t do duckfaces…

Volcano geekness

You can see these volcanic layers on the island of La Palma (Canary Islands). There are many of them along the steep & winding road up to the Roque de los Muchachos viewpoint and astronomical observatories.

Iceland eruption 2021
