The first Wilderness Coffee photo
When I thought of a name for my blog, I came up with two distinctive expressions: ‘wilderness coffee’ (my essential survival gear) and ‘natural high’ (a state of mind triggered by being in awe-inspiring nature).
I have been using these phrases for a long time, but this was the first time a Wilderness Coffee and a Natural High are actually simultaneously featured in one picture… At least a digital one. 😉
Wilderness coffee Jökulsárlón beach
Having a Wilderness Coffee on this beautiful beach was pure bliss! The weather was quite balmy too, and not as cold as it looks – in spite of the iceblocks floating around, peacefully drifting down the river from Jökulsárlón lagoon. This beach on the south coast of Iceland is also known as ‘Diamond Beach’, because of all those shiny sculpted iceblocks drifting ashore.
