The Art of Nature
A series of pictures highlighting the colourful art & contrasts made by nature.
Spring is upon us! 😀 So it’s time for some inspiring Flower Art this week, to celebrate the resilience of nature & life itself.
This is a Pua Lehua flower, laughing in the face of adversity and bursting its way up through a crack in the solidified lava flow of Kilauea Iki crater in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. It’s the official flower of the Big Island of Hawaii.
Volcanic landscapes may look like barren wasteland, but they’re actually full of life, laying the foundation of fertile soil for various plants to spring forth from.
Little trees sprouting from the crater floor.
